Jump Management System

Purpose

The Jump Management System (JMS) was designed to assist the S-3 Air in tracking the currency of jumpers under their charge.  By logging/tracking unit jumps, the system displays each jumpers status (Current, x1, x2, x3, or Payloss) allowing the leadership to make better informed decisions about jump allocations.

Capabilities

The following are some of the capabilities currently built into JMS:

  • Automatic calculation of jumper currency status
  • Simplified method of building jump manifests
  • Quick access to a variety of reports showing jumper currency
  • Control Jumpmaster assignments
  • Track Jumpmaster currency, to include DZSO and DACO duties
  • Semi-Automated production of the unit Air Letter and Jumpmaster Packet
  • Track “No Airborne Operations” profiles
  • Document management tracks that all required paperwork is on-hand such as Hazardous Duty Orders,  Jump Log, “P” Identifier, Jumpmaster certificate, Airborne certificate, etc
  • Tracks personnel who are NAP’s or Terminated from jump status
  • Auto-calculation of the Airborne timeline
  • Export DA Form 1306 (Statement of Jump and Load Manifest) and DA Form 1307 (Individual Jump Record)
  • Stores data from Drop Zone Survey’s and imagery for each drop zone for inclusion in the Air Letter and the Jumpmaster Packet
