The tools and information provided by 026 Logistics Management eXchange (LMX) allow the maintenance manager to spend less time identifying problems…allowing more time to fix them. The LMX pulls PBUSE data from WebLIDB as well as 026 maintenance data, Asset Visibility data, and In-transit Visibility (ITV), Exchange Pricing, and NSF/MRF data from ILAP into a customized, multi-user environment.

The goal is to give the maintenance manager all the required tools and information necessary to accomplish their mission.  Instead of the old-fashioned method of reviewing the 026 print to research parts issues, LMX allows maintenance mangers to produce customized reports tailored for any circumstance.

With its unique and resourceful features, the system is capable to do the following:

  • RON/DON conversion for any parts on order
  • Document history analysis
  • Checks for invalid document numbers on the 026 Print
  • One-click look-up of document number (RON or DON) status on LIW Parts Tracker
  • One-click look-up of World-wide CLIX assets available for a given NIIN
  • Provide the last location (last interrogator hit) of parts that have been shipped
  • Quickly converts maintenance and supply status codes to their proper definition
  • Provides total number of NMC items, Operational Readiness Rates, and Equipment Readiness Rates for each fleet at the Brigade, MSC, or Theater level
  • Quickly access the Document History for all document numbers
  • Has a built in Julian/Ordinal Date calculator
  • Allows the manager to annotate and keep historical parts research data/information.  The parts research that users input into the system is immediately available to all users.  This will minimize repetitive research being conducted at various levels within theater.
  • Customized reports that can be filtered by age, unit, fleet, pacers/ERC
  • Allows the user quick and easy access to the wholesale supply system through tools such as: Logistics Integrated Warehouse (LIW), WEBVLIPS, Parts Tracker, ILAP, DOD E-Mall, etc.
  • Track, manage, and sort potential shortfalls/problems through the “SSA Call List” and “Readiness Issues” features
  • Quick access to RIC contact information
  • Daily archiving of the entire 026 allows managers to look back to any point in time to identify the cause of readiness issues

Furthermore, it lets the user monitor/manage a set of custom-selected fleets for any unit within the AOR, giving them the details needed to identify and fix problems. Additionally, it has an Exchange Pricing Management tool which enable managers to monitor, in near real-time, any outstanding parts that need to be turned in.

Benefits for using LMX:

  • All parts research is preserved for future analysis
  • RON/DON conversion is already done
  • Provides maximum communication as well as consolidation of efforts between all management echelons.
  • Pools multiple data sources which keeps managers from having to traverse several websites just to get the entire picture
  • Allows users at the brigade and battalion SPO level to input the most current job status which they can in-turn use to provide reports to their higher level commanders.  This information is also immediately available to all users.
  • Gives tools to managers that expedites the analysis and creation of their briefing products
  • Saves huge amounts of time by showing, analyzing and organizing the data points that are relevant
  • Provides an efficient workflow allowing users to quickly get to the information that is relevant to them so they can affect change
  • Maximizes the power of sharing by bringing outside support agencies into the management process (AMC, DLA, AFSB/BLST, etc)
